12th Colloquiumfest on Algebra and Logic and 9th Polish, Slovak and Czech Conference on Number Theory
11–14 June 2012, Czech Republic

The Colloquiumfest is a small, (almost) annual low budget conference on algebra and logic that has been invented and held at the University of Saskatchewan, but also at the IHP in Paris and at the CUNY Graduate Center in New York. A list of past Colloquiumfest meetings can be found at the Valuation Theory Home Page http://math.usask.ca/fvk/Valth.html. Topics of the 12th Colloquiumfest will come from valuation theory, real algebra, field arithmetic, algebraic geometry and model theory.

As a part of the conference there will be Summer school on Number theory intended for students.

Preliminary programme

June 10 is the arrival day with dinner included.
The conference will be finished by the lunch (which is also included) on June 14.
(So, if you pay full costs you will book the accomodation and meals from the dinner on June 10 to the lunch on June 14.
If you want to come for the shorter or longer stay, it should be written into the field "remark" in the registration form.)

The exact schedule of the conference will be specified after the registration of talks.

We can arrange for you the transport from/to Ostrava Main-station if you come by train or Ostrava Airport if you come by plane anyday and anytime from June 10 to June 14 with regards to your travel plans.

Second Announcement

The conference will be held in Hotel Sepetná, which is situated in Ostravice, a nice village in the Beskydy mountains, 30 km south of Ostrava.

Accommodation
The accommodation will be available in comfortable single or double rooms.

• 9400 CZK or €400 – single room (please bear in mind that the number of this single rooms is limited and the rooms will be given to participants on the first come first serve basis)
• 8200 CZK or €350 – double room

If you do not send conference costs until 30th April you will pay 10 % extra fee. The price covers accommodation, meal and the registration fee. Accompanying persons are heartily welcome.

Beneficiary
We prefer payment to the University bank account but it will also be possible to pay in cash when you arrive. Please do not forget to pay the transfer fee as well.

Abstracts
The speakers are asked to submit abstracts of their talks in English. We would appreciate sending in the abstract as a TeX-file by e-mail.

Proceedings
The papers from the conference might be published — after review — in Communications in Mathematics, which is reviewed in Mathematical Reviews and Zentrallblatt.

Deadlines

Travel
There is a possibility to pick you up from the Ostrava Main Station or the Ostrava-Mošnov Airport, just check required option in the registration form. In the case of any later changes in your travel plans please e-mail us. Also let us know if you are not going to come on Monday and stay till Thursday.
If you will come to Ostrava by train keep in mind to get off at Ostrava Main Station (Ostrava hlavní nádraží), because there are several railway stations in Ostrava.

The conference will be held in Beskydy Mountains on June 11–14, 2012.
All algebraists and number theoreticians from Poland, Slovakia and Czechia are welcome. The conference is open to all interested mathematicians from other countries but their number will be limited by the capacity of the hotel.
